Fueling the Future: How Utilities Help Power the Economy
Energy is a pillar in Colorado's global competitiveness.  Join veteran utilities executive David Freeman to discuss the election results, the CO PUC renewables, fossil fuels and energy efficiency, and the role of utilities in safeguarding Colorado's economy.

David Freeman worked on President Kennedy's Federal Power Commission.  Under President Johnson, David was the first person to coordinate federal energy policy.  David was appointed the chairman of the Tennessee Valley Authority by President Carter.  During his leadership, he successfully closed one and stopped construction of eight additional nuclear power plants, moved away from coal-powered electricity, built affordable renewable energy programs and pioneered a massive energy conservation program.
