Who Strips the Strippers? II
A simple question, "Who Watches the Watchmen?" was at the center of an 80's comic book that helped usher in a renaissance of sequential art, and has since been recognized as one of the greatest works of modern literature. Thursday, November 20th at The Parkside Lounge, Excelsior Burlesque returns to explore the dark, twisted, and often naked underbelly of comics that is the work of Alan Moore. For the second annual installment of "Who Strips the Strippers," in honor of the creator of such stories as Watchmen and V for Vendetta, Excelsior Burlesque is proud to present some of of the best in NYC & Philadelphia nerdlesque!
Returning from the deep, dark swamp of Philly, Dottie Riot is the one superhero you'd never guess was sexy. Also coming back (because you definitely didn't see her last time) is D20's Anja Keister - the girl who shows the most and takes off the least! Liberty Rose comes to the stage as a blonde bombshell from a futuristic deep track, and Minnie d'Moocha faces down a serial killer armed only with a corset - we're giving her even odds. Ruby Solitaire brings another of Moore's blonde creations to the stage, and she'll leave you out of breath, wondering what you just saw. Finally, Excelsior is proud to host the NYC debut of Sharp Robert, whose reach can't exceed his grasp.
Welcoming some old favorites and some brand new acts - not to mention the NYC debut of an old regular - to The Parkside Lounge at 317 E. Houston at Attorney, on Thursday, November 20th at 9pm, Ruby Solitaire and Moe Cheezmo bring you acts of graphic sex and violence!!
