Stripped by Tyler Grimes
Distilled Theatre Company is PUMPED to be presenting "Stripped" by Tyler Grimes as our third mainstage. We first produced Stripped as a 3-scene short in 2013, and through workshop development, Tyler has created a 9-inning feature. "Stripped" tells the story of former high school baseball star Chester Graves, a twenty-something who was recently kicked out of the military, as he struggles to adjust to life, family, and friends after being away for many years. Following the sudden death of his next-door neighbor, Chester runs into her daughter (his childhood love) working at a strip club, causing his past to come flooding back as old wounds and habits creep back into his life. Will Chester continue down this path of self-destruction, bringing down everyone who cares for him, or will he finally face the naked truth staring back at him in the mirror?
