The Glory of Christmas
This Christmas season, Oregon Repertory Singers feature French genius Francis Poulenc's luscious Quatre Motets pour le Temps de Noel (Four Motets for Christmas Time), one of the great secular Christmas cycles of the 20th century, and Eric Whitacre's Lux Aurumque (light and gold), one of the great Christmas pieces of the 21st. Along with traditional carols and new arrangements of old favorites, we reprise Stars, by Eriks Esenvalds, for choir and tuned water glasses.
