Meat Hook presents a Brunch Without Boundaries at Brooklyn Grange
The Meat Hook's Brunch is back for one day only. They couldn't fit you all at the butcher shop, so they're moving brunch to the roof of the Brooklyn Grange on Sunday, September 21st. Join us all for a long, leisurely meal on a killer rooftop with coffee, beer, lady butchers, plants, music, more beer, and probably some shots.
So who are these lady butchers? They're Madeleine Kren, Cara Nicoletti and Sara Bigelow. They really like to eat. And when they say eat, they don't mean your average menu item with a bit of flair. These dishes start with the flair.
What you can expect is a playful, meat heavy menu that carries you from breakfast through lunch with course upon course. Don't worry about how you'll fit all that food - they're kind enough to provide you with a "halftime" course to get you ready for round two. We'll throw in a Brooklyn Grange salad to make sure you get your fair share of veggies as well.
Half the fun is in the surprise, so just know these guys have a killer menu planned and you're going to want to be part of it. No one is leaving here hungry (or thirsty!), that we can promise.
Save up your appetites, grab a friend or four, and see if you really know how to brunch in the big apple.
ABOUT THE MEAT HOOK The Meat Hook is a full-service butcher shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We work with local farms to source whole animals, which we break down in house for grass-fed beef steaks, pastured pork chops, and our own charcuterie and sausage. We believe in supporting our community of small farms and slaughterhouses, and in providing the best meat possible.
ABOUT BROOKLYN GRANGE: Brooklyn Grange is the leading rooftop farming and intensive green roofing business in the US. We operate the world's largest rooftop soil farms, located on two roofs in New York City, and grow over 40,000 lbs of organically-cultivated produce per year. In addition to growing and distributing fresh local vegetables and herbs, Brooklyn Grange also provides urban farming and green roof consulting and installation services to clients worldwide, and we partner with numerous non-profit organizations throughout New York to promote healthy and strong local communities.
