Have zany fun and learn new skills with an improv class for teens!
The class will concentrate on the basic improvisation principles, including acceptance, cooperation and ensemble work. Both short-form (games) and long-form (scenes) improvisational styles will be covered, as well as a taste of musical improv. Great for those with lots of stage experience (acting, forensics) and for those who've never performed (but maybe want to). The supportive, open environment of improv is fostered by OKC Improv Managing Director Sue Ellen Reiman, a professor of acting and improv at UCO, who has more than 25 years experience acting and improvising around the nation.
Class meets from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each Wednesday (September 3 - October 15).
Class enrollment is limited to 15 students.
