The Crush Challenge presented by Amgen
Hosted by Patrick Dempsey and ZD Wines, the Crush Challenge presented by Amgen is a fundraising bicycle ride, wine and food experience of a lifetime.

Join us Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at the Crush Challenge and spend a full day in the beautiful Napa Valley helping us raise awareness for our three deserving beneficiaries; The Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing, The deLeuze Family Endowment for the Non-Toxic Cure for Lymphoma, and Amgen's Breakaway from Cancer and its partners. Thanks to the generous support of our partners, 100% of the event revenue from tickets and auction activities will be received by the charities.

Experience the beauty of Napa Valley Wine Country during the time know as "Crush" on a private cycling excursion (38-miles) that will depart from the Veterans Home of California, located on the hill above the Napa Valley's dining mecca, Yountville. Take the wheel of our host Patrick Dempsey as you pass through vineyard lined avenues sharing the road with other friends of The Crush Challenge, including cycling legends Bob Roll and Christian Vande Velde. Complete SAG support will be provided by SRAM, as well as a unique stopover ('rest stop') at the ZD Rutherford Estate.

Following the ride, a quintessential Napa Valley farm to table lunch will be provided by Oenotri Napa, as participants share their stories with seasonal fare and the wines of ZD.

Perhaps the highlight of our event will be the private wine reception with entertainment, dinner, and auction at the ZD Carneros Estate. Join us here at the private residence of the deLeuze Family for a reception on the extensive grounds adjacent to the grand victorian home on the property originally built in 1897.

The evening will be capped off with a multi-course wine-paired dinner served in the mezzanine of the newly constructed ZD Wines Eco-Barn with Patrick, the deLeuze Family, and friends.
