Natalie Weiss will coach people on their pop songs - concentrating on specific techniques & cleaning riffs. There will also do an interactive group riff circle! The sound of "riff circle" often intimidates people, but by the end of the class, Natalie will ensure that riffing will never scare you again!
**This class is designed for singers who are either very INEXPERIENCED singing pop or ADVANCED pop singers who want to perfect their riff stylings (Natalie will make all participants feel comfortable going into an audition with the "dreaded" pop song)
**Ages 13 and UP!
*Please prepare 2 pop songs (they can also be R&B, country, folk, jazz, gospel etc, just no musical theatre) Please bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. (They can be audition cuts or full songs)
At the end of the class, there will also be a Q & A with Natalie.
Last August, Natalie completed a 2 1/2 year run performing multiple ensemble roles on the Les Miserables 25th anniversary tour. In 2010, she made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba in the 2nd national tour of Wicked. Natalie was an American Idol season 4 semi-finalist, has performed the National Anthem at Cowboys & Shea Stadium, but is most well known for her Youtube videos. She has gained an international following from her performance videos & popular web series, "Breaking Down The Riffs", which have collectively reached over 3 million views. Natalie released her self-titled debut CD in early 2011 and has been giving sold out solo concerts and master classes across the country.
