Locavore's Beer Dinner

Toronado Pub, in conjunction with SF Foodshed & Melissa Claire, Personal Chef presents:
A LOCAVORE'S BEER DINNER (major sourcing within 200 miles)

This is a 6 course meal prepared by local chefs Melissa Axelrod & Christian Spybrook (also a beertender @ the Toronado). It will feature food sourced from local ranchers, farmers, and food & drink artisans. Vegetarian options will be available upon request (email Melissa @ her link below to let us know in advance).
These coursed will be paired with 15 local brews including:

FIRESTONE WALKER-Double Double Barrel Ale (7 month bourbon barrel)
FIRESTONE WALKER-XII Anniversary (blended from various barrel beers)

MAGNOLIA-cask conditioned Aerodrome (Belgian yeast, Maris Otter malt, & yuzu)
SIERRA NEVADA-Belgian Tripel (new release)
RUSSIAN RIVER-Supplication (Belgian Style Brown aged in Pinot Noir barrels with sour cherries)
RUSSIAN RIVER-Consecration (Belgian Style Dark aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels with currants)
RUSSIAN RIVER-Beatification (Belgian Style 100% spontaneously fermented)
NORTH COAST-Brother Thelonious (Belgian Abbey Style dark strong ale)
SIERRA NEVADA-Keller Weiss (Bavarian Style wheat)
NAPA SMITH-Bonfire (Imperial porter)

1st Course: Arugula Salad with Early Girl Tomato, Bellwether Sheep Ricotta, & Magnolia Gruit Vinaigrette
2nd Course: Charcuterie Plate with Rabbit Rillette, Duck Liver Mousse, & Rustic Country Pork Pate
3rd Course: San Francisco Cioppino Soup made with Iron Springs Alowicious Wit
4th Course: Russian River Damnation 23 Braised Pork Shoulder reduced Carnitas Style & fresh Corn Polenta
5th Course:3 Local Artisan Cheeses with housemade Flatbread
6th Course: Chocolate Caramel Tart with Espresso Crust & Sea Salt
