Put Some Skates On and Be Your Own Hero!!! GCRG 2014 Roller Derby Bootcamp!!!
Do you know an aspiring derby girl? Are you interested in becoming a REF or NSO?? If so, this is the bootcamp for you!!!
This bootcamp is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of quad roller skating, roller derby specific skating techniques, and basic game objectives and rules. This camp is open to women 18yrs+ of all skill levels. Both women and men are welcome for the referee and non-skating official training camp. You will be taught by some of the best skaters, Refs and NSO's from the Gem City Rollergirls.
Mandatory equipment: quad skates (4 wheels - no in-lines for skaters), helmet, mouthguard, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards
*Limited(very limited) loaner gear will be available for use, first come first serve*
*Rental skates will be available for use at an additional cost*
