SMUT Presents: Dax Jordan
This June, SMUT Presents returns to The Funhouse Lounge!
On June 22nd, one of the original pioneers of Portland comedy returns home from LA to headline SMUT PRESENTS for One Night Only at The Funhouse Lounge!
What can we say about Dax Jordan...Dax Jordan is a renowned stand-up comedian, writer and actor transplanted back to Los Angeles from Portland, Oregon after getting a rainy education. In addition to a handful of minor film and tv appearances, Dax has been a touring comic for over 13 years.
His comedy stems from his brilliant wit and impeccable timing, often called upon to write for others as well, most recently for the 2014 International Press Academy Awards show. His routine spans from hilarious life observations to the wacky and clever shenanigans he is known for.
Dax's good looks (or as he calls it, 'smart looking'), flawless delivery, and ability to think quick and funny on his feet have made him a fan favorite around the country. In 2010 he placed 3rd in the Seattle Comedy Competition, beating out winners of numerous other contests around the United States. In 2012 he was runner up in the Ventura Comedy Festival Competition, where he was awarded the first place prize of a recording contract anyway on the strength of his performance.
2014 will be a big year for Dax, with a new tour, television appearances, as well as writing for TV.

Tyler Smith
"Tyler Smith is a Seattle-based Comedian whose clever humor is gaining attention in the Northwest. He won the Northern Lights comedian competition in 2012 making him officially the funniest medicated comedian in Seattle. No stranger to competitions Tyler has been a finalist is Yakima Comedy Competition, and a semi-finalist in the Make Jack Laugh competition and the Grit City Comedy Competition. He was featured at Bumbershoot in 2012 & 2013. Tyler also is the host of the marijuanacooking show 'Something's Burning".
Tyler has been known for his stoner wit, cracking jokes about taboo subjects not just to get a rise out of the audience but to show people how humor can be found in the darkest of topics."
