Pisqu invites you to its 2nd Summer Pop-up Dinner featuring Chef Josue Rivas!
Chef Josue, a Peruvian native and former owner of Limo Restaurant in Northwest Portland, learned his art in French cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu. His passion and his roots, however, lie in Peruvian cooking and its rich culinary culture. Learning traditional recipes and techniques from his mother, Josue blends regional flavors to create a unique and exceptional dining experience.
Josue and Alexandra Saavedra first created the vision for Pisqu in 2011. Originally planned for Palo Alto, the concept is now coming to fruition in Portland, Oregon. A tapas bar featuring Andean mixology, Pisqu will evolve through a series of pop-up dinners this summer.
Through a five-course, tapas-style dinner, the evening will give you a tour of refreshing plates of Ceviche (a South American dish of marinated raw fish or seafood) and highlight Peru's national liquor, Pisco, a type of brandy. Wine will also be available.
The price per person is $85 and includes tip. Seating is limited to 30 people.
