The Arch Grants Gala is a one of a kind event, celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit and community within St. Louis. Join us as we pay tribute to the creative forces that are changing the local landscape, and help us build the St . Louis of tomorrow. Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch, will be an evening of networking with innovative startups, an award presentation and brief showcase of Arch Grants' winning entrepreneurs during a seated dinner.
At the conclusion of our evening, we will present the Arch Grants Award to David Steward, Chairman and Founder of World Wide Technology, Inc., to honor not only his extraordinary contributions as a prominent global entrepreneur, but also the enthusiasm he perpetuates for others in the start up community.
Our global competition awards $50,000 grants to promising startups that re-locate or stay in St. Louis. We have awarded $3.1 million to date and we do not take a stake in the company. Since 2012, we have funded 55 companies from applicants across the world. In the first eighteen months of our program, our entrepreneurs have created 192 jobs, generated $6.5 million in revenue, and raised $17.7 million in follow-on funding. In addition to the grant , startups receive free legal, accounting, marketing, and mentoring support through extensive partnering with local organizations.
