What is "The Art-To-Go"?
"Art-To-Go" is a selection of art experiences created by popular art instructor Dawn Evans Scaltreto that will help you discover the colorful, creative side of you! Create an Impressionist painting like Monet, capture the essence of the New England coast or kick back with a jazzy abstract in earth tones. Dawn will lead you through the process - no experience necessary!
Do I need supplies?
Nope! All supplies are provided, you just bring yourself. You will paint on a stretched canvas using acrylic paints. Dawn will lead you through each painting start to finish, a dab here, a dab there, and you go home with a finished work of art. Aprons are provided, but wear comfortable clothes that you won't mind getting paint on. Acrylic paint is hard to wash out!
I haven't painted since grade school!
That's OK. Dawn has experience teaching artists at all levels and helping them create beautiful paintings they never thought they could do. It's easy when you take it step by step. Experienced artists will have fun, too! They can take their artwork to the next level by adding a dash of their own creativity to each project!
Can I bring a friend?
You bet! The experience is all the more fun with friends and family. Enjoy music to set the mood and kick back with a beverage and snack. You can come by yourself and make new friends, too. It is all about relaxing and expressing yourself creatively!
