FILM SCREENING: American Revolutionary
As part of its annual Africa Day Celebration, the Seattle University Global African Studies Program is hosting a free, public screening of the award-winning documentary film 'American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs.' This documentary film plunges us into Boggs's lifetime of vital thinking and action, traversing the major U.S. social movements of the last century; from labor to civil rights, to Black Power, feminism, the Asian American and environmental justice movements and beyond. NOTE: A Q&A session with film contributor Professor Stephen Ward will follow the screening.
