ALIAS - Spring 2007
The final concert of the 2006-2007 season features two works from the ALIAS Double Take series: Michael Daugherty's "Paul Robeson Told Me" for tape and string quartet, and Kevin Puts' "And Legions Will Rise" for violin, clarinet, and marimba. Also on the program are Bach's Cantata, "Mein Herze schwimmt in Blut," and the Amy Beach piano quintet, a lesser-known masterpiece of the Romantic period.
All proceeds from the concert benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.
