Saturday May 10 the Fat Kids Running Club will host the 2014 Beer Relay at Hamilton's Bar and Grill.
The event consists of teams of 4. Each person must drink a beer, then run a lap around the block. The runner high-fives their next teammate to "pass the baton." Each team member completes 4 rounds. The first to finish wins! Four friends, four beers, four laps, for fun.
The fun starts at 2 pm! From 2:00-3:00 is sign in and drink specials at the bar. The Relay will begin promptly at 3:00. Bar specials will continue after the race.
The cost is $30 per participant. This includes the 4 beers for the relay, an event t-shirt, drink specials at the bar, and tons of fun. Non-participating spectators can gain access to the discounts and fun with a $15 wristband.
Follow the instructions below to register for the event. Sign up under the same team name as your friends (max 4 people), or register as an individual and be placed on a team of new friends. All participants must be 21+ and sign a waiver.
All participants must register before the day of the event. Spectators can pre-register or pay at the door. No printing necessary. Just bring your ID and your game face on the day of the Relay and we'll get you checked in!
This event is sponsored by Washington Women's RFC and Washington RFC. Proceeds from the event will help support both men's and women's club rugby in the nation's capital.
