Long Leaf Opera presents Amahl and the Night Visitors
Long Leaf Opera's annual holiday classic. Amahl, a crippled shepard boy, tries to tell his mother what he has seen outside: an enormous star with a long tale. His mother, used to his habitual lying, grows angry; she is even angrier when Amahl tells her that there is a knock on the door and there are three kings who have come to visit them...and then the magic begins!
Your choice of four performances at two venues:
December 2 at 8pm and December 3 at 2pm at the PSI Theater, Durham Arts Council
December 9 at 8pm and December 10 at 2pm at East Chapel Hill High School
PLEASE NOTE: THE CUT-OFF TIME FOR ORDERING TICKETS THROUGH BROWN PAPER TICKETS IS 5PM FOR EVENING PERFORMANCES AND 11AM FOR MATINEES. AFTER THAT TIME, TICKETS MAY BE PURCHASED ONLY AT THE DOOR.
