34th Annual Clergy Institute at Temple De Hirsch Sinai
Temple De Hirsch Sinai invites you to attend the 34th Annual Clergy Institute on May 15th, presented by the generous support of the Shemanski Trust, the family of Mila and Henry Eisenhardt, Seattle University and the Shemanski Institute for Christian, Jewish and Muslim Understanding.
This year's speaker is renowned scholar, educator and lecturer Rabbi Donniel Hartman. Rabbi Hartman is President of Shalom Institute in Jerusalem, and is the Director of its iEngage Project. His educational and training programs have enriched many scholars, educators, clergy and lay leaders in Israel and across North America.
Rabbi Hartman is also author of "The Boundaries of Judaism", co-editor of "Judaism and the Challenges of Modern Life", as well as the co-author of "Spheres of Jewish Identity", a model curriculum in Jewish philosophy for secular Israeli schools.
Join us at 9:30am for a Continental Breakfast, then Rabbi Hartman's Presentation and Discussion at 10:00am, and a Lunch Discussion at 11:45am. The cost is $10/person and includes a brown bag lunch.
