2014 Bull Run Watershed Tour
Water Bureau tours offer the unique chance to see firsthand how Portland's drinking water travels from forest to faucet.
During the tour, a professional natural resources educator leads participants through the Bull Run Watershed, discussing Portland's drinking water sources and system. All information is intended for a general audience.
Tour essentials: The tour area is remote. Water Bureau staff carry emergency radios and are trained in first aid; however, cell phones do not work and emergency care can be more than an hour away.
Restrooms can be up to 2-3 hours apart. Please contact us (503-823-5351) if limited restroom availability presents a challenge for you.
Smoking is not allowed.
Meeting Location: We'll provide the exact Northeast Portland location after you have reserved your seat.
Time: 8:30 AM to 4:30-5:00 PM
Cost: $10 (+$1.34 service fee)
Signup: One person can register up to six people. Please be prepared to provide all participants' names.
Refunds: If you need to cancel your registration, you can receive a refund if you give at least one week's notice. If you need to cancel closer to the date itself, we'd appreciate if you let us know (your cancellation might allow someone else to attend) but we can't offer a refund.
Thank you for your interest in Portland's water.
