Ray of Light Junior 2009 - Summer Youth Theatre Workshop
Ray of Light Theatre Jr. (ROLT Jr.) is a children's summer theatre program entering its eighth successful year. It is a two-week intensive musical theatre workshop for children, drawing on the talent and experience of members of the ROLT community. It is an immersive program where your children receive hands-on experience in the many aspects of producing a show: Not only singing, dancing and acting, but also set design, construction and stage management. Our program emphasizes creativity, collaboration and fun. At the end of the two week session, students present a musical performance that is, in many ways, their very own. This year's show will be Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. An optional "Afternoon Arts" program is available for families who would like to take advantage of a full-day program. "Afternoon Arts" participants will focus on production elements such as stagecraft, set design, and costume design.
