Revolving around Truvy's Beauty Parlor in Louisiana, "Steel Magnolias" is the story of a close-knit circle of friends whose lives are filled with humor and heartbreak. At the center of the group is Shelby, newly married and joyfully pregnant, despite the fact that her diabetes could make childbirth life-threatening. Terrified and angry at the possibility of losing her only daughter, her mother M'Lynn looks to her four closest friends for strength and laughter as she battles her deepest fears of death in order to celebrate life.

The Hanover Street Theatre's cast welcomes back some faces that will be familiar to past HST audiences and we know they will love our newcomers as well!
As always at the HST, "Steel Magnolias" will be performed DESSERT THEATRE STYLE!
Ticket Prices: The Dessert Theatre Ticket is $15 for Adults and Seniors. It includes bakery fresh pie, cake or pastries and choice of beverage served at intermission in our cafe'!
Non-dessert Ticket Price is $12 for Adults and Seniors.
