Welcome to the Second Annual Listen To Your Mother: Raleigh-Durham!

Join us for live readings by local writers on the beauty, the beast and the barely-rested life of mothers. In celebration of Mothers Day, 15 writers will read their personal stories about the humor, the heartbreak, and the appreciation that go hand in hand with motherhood.

KeAnne Hoeg, Marty Long, and Liisa Ogburn are co-producers for this show in what is becoming a national movement of Listen to Your Mother shows.

You are invited to be a part of what will be a Triangle area Mother's Day tradition by the end of the evening. Be part of it from the beginning!

A portion of the proceeds from each ticket goes to benefit SAFEchild, an organization helping Stop Abuse For Every Child right here in the Triangle.

The mission of each LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER production is to take the audience on a well-crafted journey that celebrates and validates mothering through giving voice to motherhoodin all of its complexity, diversity, and humorin the form of original readings performed live on-stage by their authors.

LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER aims to support motherhood creatively through artistic expression, and also financiallythrough contributions to non-profit organizations supporting families in need. Each LTYM show donates a minimum of 10% of ticket proceeds to a local cause, as well as providing the cause awareness/fund-raising opportunities.
