VDAY 2014 Highlands: The Vagina Monologues
V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls that raises funds and awareness through benefit productions of
Playwright/Founder Eve Ensler's award winning plays such as The Vagina Monologues. To date, the V-Day movement has raised over
$50 million and educated millions about the issue of violence against women and the efforts to end it, crafted international educational,
media and PSA campaigns, launched the Karama program in the Middle East, reopened shelters, and funded over 5000 community-based
anti-violence programs and safe houses in Kenya, South Dakota, Egypt and Iraq. The 'V' in V-Day stands for Victory, Valentine and
Vagina. www.vday.org.

The Vagina Monologues is a celebration of women and understanding of the struggles they've been through. In this stunning
phenomenon that has swept the nation, Eve Ensler gives us real women's stories of intimacy, vulnerability, and sexual self-discovery.
Celebrated as the bible for a new generation of women, The Vagina Monologues has been performed in cities all across America and at
hundreds of college campuses. It has inspired a dynamic grassroots movement--V-Day--to stop violence against women. Witty and
irreverent, compassionate and wise, Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning masterpiece gives voice to women's deepest fantasies and fears.

Performance: Apr.26th at 2:30pm and Apr. 27th
at 2:30pm and 6:30pm at the Bovine Metropolis Theater.
