April Showers Bring May Flowers Auction
KELLER WILLIAMS REAL ESTATE GREATER SEATTLE
APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS AUCTION
BENEFITTING YOUTHCARE
April 10, 2014 7pm-10pm
415 Westlake in South Lake Union

Keller Williams Greater Seattle is hosting a fundraising dinner, drinks and auction at 415 Westlake in South Lake Union, Seattle - Thursday, April 10, 2014, benefiting YouthCare, a Seattle organization serving homeless youth.

YOUTHCARE
YouthCare is celebrating its 40th year building confidence and self-sufficiency within Seattle's homeless youth by providing a continuum of care that includes outreach, basic services, emergency shelter, housing, counseling, education, and employment training.

Each night in Seattle, 7001,000 young people have no safe place to sleep. That's thousands of homeless youth every year  stuck in survival mode.
YouthCare serves children as young as 12 up to 24 years old. On the streets, rather than having a childhood, the younger ones are already enduring greater fear than anyone should ever have to. At the ages for finding mentors and role models, these young adults are learning to trust no one. All of them should be imagining and building a future. Instead, they're occupied with getting to tomorrow.
YouthCare provides Seattle's homeless youth with everything from specialized counseling to formal and informal coaching in life skills, from GED and high school classes to employment training, and from emergency shelter for one night to transitional housing for up to two years.
YouthCare knows that this continuum of care is the surest way to get homeless youth off the streets and preparing for life.
KELLER WILLIAMS
One of Keller Williams' core values as a company is to strengthen and energize our local community by giving where we live. This means connecting with our neighbors, volunteering our services and charitably contributing whenever possible.

Keller Williams Greater Seattle started working with YouthCare in 2013 as part of our company-wide Red Day event. The entire company shuts down for one day in May to give back and be of service to our communities. Our Greater Seattle office helped remodel, update and recharge YouthCare's ISIS House, one of six homes serving Seattle homeless youth. It became clear to us that this organization is filling a huge void in our community and that we needed to continue to focus on helping YouthCare in 2014.

AUCTION
We are hosting the April Showers Bring May Flowers Auction & Event to raise $20,000 for YouthCare. All money raised at the event will be used to remodel and update YouthCare's Passages House in May 2014.

This event is happening in the heart of Seattle's chic and emerging  South Lake Union at the industrial and ambient 415 Westlake.  Something for everyone, the evening will consist of both silent and live auction components, appealing to both the quiet and verbal types of bidders. There will be more auction style events built into the evening as well as live music, two food trucks providing tasty and unique dining options and of course lots of  wine and beer served.
We are expecting at a full house of 300+ people at this fundraising event so please purchase you tickets early and often!  VIP tickets and sponsorships opportunities available.*
