Sounds Good at Jazzway 6004
Sounds Good Jazz Quartet will play lesser-known, but wonderful tunes written by Ellington, Jobim, Horace Silver, Quincy Jones, Gary Bartz, plus songs recorded by Diana Krall, Freddy Cole, Nat King Cole and others.
As the core of Sounds Good, Bob Jacobson & Ron McCadden have been mainstays on the Baltimore jazz scene since 1995, including five year stints at Borders in Towson and Donna's in Columbia. For the past two years they've been joined by drummer Robert Shahid, long-time fixture at Buddy's Pub and The Caton Castle. Ex-rocker Tom Hensler, a recent student of bassist supreme Jeff Reed, joins the ensemble on bass.
