Handel's Chamber Music and YBAC Winner's Showcase
Our year-long celebration of Handel continues with two chamber works. School of Music faculty member John Dee joins the BACH orchestra for the Oboe Concerto in G Minor, and the rarely-heard cantata Apollo e Dafne. Soprano Sherezade Panthaki and baritone Matthew Leese sing the two title roles in this tragic, mythological love story. We will also feature the winners of our Young Baroque Artists Competition. Musical selections for this portion of the concert will be based on the competitors' selections.
