About the Artists For more than three decades, Robin & Linda Williams have made it their mission to perform the music that they love, "a robust blend of bluegrass, folk, old-time and acoustic country that combines wryly observant lyrics with a wide-ranging melodicism."
Robin & Linda recorded their first album in 1975 and appeared for the first time on NPR's A Prairie Home Companion, beginning a decades-long relationship with that icon of American broadcasting. Robin & Linda's songs have been recorded by Emmy Lou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Tim O'Brien, Tom T. Hall, Kathy Mattea and the Seldom Scene. They have appeared on "The Grand Old Opry," "Austin City Limits," "Music City Tonight," and "Mountain Stage." This concert series coincides with the Fall release of their upcoming album. Robin & Linda will play with Their Fine Band.
Greenfield, MA songwriters Pat & Tex LaMountain will open the concert. Pat and Tex produce the Connecticut River Watershed Council's popular Living along the River concert series.
