Skeptics Movie Premiere
How do you Know you are really Alive if you have never tested the theory?
In Skeptics, a group of teenagers struggle to find direction in the off-kilter post 9/11 shock. Bony (Andrea Long) stops eating in a quest to come as close to death as possible in order to learn something about life. Her friends watch, too caught up in their own confusions to recognize how dangerous her experiment becomes.
Director Ron Bieganski and the ensemble at Free Street Theater adapted the stage production of Skeptics (which toured to Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands) into a feature film which will have its premiere screening as part of Free Street's 40th Anniversary celebrations.
After the screening, there will be a discussion with the actors and filmmakers.
Tickets are $10.
