Maine Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame Induction Celebration
All are welcome to join us for the reception and induction ceremony of 23 individuals into the Maine Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame on November 5th from 3:30 to 7 pm at Sugarloaf's Base Lodge. The event will include a cash bar, appetizers and hors d'oeuvres, and live music from Maine's own Hall Pass Bluegrass. All tickets sold include a one-year membership to the Maine Ski and Snowboard Museum. Tickets are limited.
The Maine Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, a division of the Maine Ski and Snowboard Museum, was established to recognize individuals who bring distinction to Maine skiing and snowboarding. Inductees include athletes and coaches, pioneers in the ski industry, ski makers, ski area builders, instructors, volunteers, and others who have made significant contributions to the sport.
The Class of 2020 includes Harold Bondeson, Franklin Chip Carey, Dick Forster, Robert Bobcat Miller, Peter Smith, Gregory Voisine, Larry Warren, and Marcia White.
The Class of 2021 includes Roger Arsenault, Laura & Harvey Boynton, Virginia Ginny Bousum, Liz Carey-Butera, Mike Chasse, George Gagnon, Scott Hoisington, and Hazen McMullen.
The Class of 2022 includes Scott Broomhall, Meredith Elcome, Robert "Bud" Fisher, Roxanne Nash-Marks, Peter Howard, Jim Quimby, and Russell Currier.
