Homeschooler Days: March Afternoon Program
This month's topic: The Mysteries of Moss
What's the story behind the lovely green carpets of moss growing on tree trunks, rocks, and damp sidewalks? Armed with magnifying glasses, we'll take a closer look at what makes these tiny bryophytes different from other plants. We'll then apply our moss knowledge in the creation our very own terrariums.
Homeschooler Days serve homeschooled students, ages 5 13, and meets monthly with morning and afternoon sessions to choose from. This year's topics range from botany to colonial cooking, from navigation to creating music from birdsong!
Schedule: 2nd Wednesday of every month. Morning session takes place from 10 am to noon. Afternoon session takes place from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Pre-registration is required. Admission is $10 per child or free for Bartram Members. Non-members may pre-pay via Brown Paper Tickets, or pay at the door. For more information about becoming a Bartram's Garden Member, visit: www.bartramsgarden.org/join.
