Of Tooth and Claw: Carnivores of North America
Wednesdays: March 28 2:00 PM
Ages 12 and up
We explore the charismatic mega fauna (i.e. beasts with teeth) that inhabit Washington and North America. We'll start with the behaviors and biology of bear, wolf, lion, eagle and fox and conclude with a state of the union including growing wolf packs in the Cascade mountains, wolf hunting in Idaho, Grizzly bear sightings in our local National Parks and more. The Burke Museum has kindly provided mounted specimens to enhance this presentation.
