Celebrate women's history month with one of the true innovators of vocal jazz. Jay Clayton incorporates poetry, free jazz and beloved standards into her textured and individualitic mosaic of jazz expression. Jay creates a dramatic yet spare platform for her unique vocal performance with a format featuring and itimate trio of vocals, bass and horn. With accompanistsh Mike Formanek on bass and Gary Thomas on saxophones. This concert will be Jay's first offical release of her new CD "The Peace of Wild Things" A not to be missed event for any fan of innovative jazz.
