Inspired by restrictions imposed by concerns for safety during the Covid pandemic, world-famous dance instructor Steve Weintraub presents Jewish folk dances specifically choreographed so that dancers mostly face forward and can dance alone in their own space. Steve thinks of these dances as etudes that present possibilities for dancing to klezmer, focused on assimilating specific gestures or patterns. With musical accompaniment by accordionist Lauren Brody. With musical accompaniment by accordionist Lauren Brody.
