Ready to warm up this winter? Join us for our upcoming cooking class "Saffron and Spice" when we'll show you the basics of making Indian inspired meals from scratch that anyone can make, and everyone can enjoy. We'll discuss essential flavorings and spices, including what to buy, when to add them to the dish, and what medicinal benefits they hold. We will also cover simple cooking techniques for getting these home style meals on your table with ease. These are some of our favorite go-to recipes for our own dinners here at Fire and Earth Kitchen, we hope you'll join us and share them with your friends and family as well.<BR><BR>On the menu:<BR>*Oven-baked Mixed Vegetable Pakora with Tamarind Chutney<BR>*Creamy Cauliflower Curry<BR>*Saffron Rice with Simple Spiced Daal<BR>*Besan Burfi (sweetened chickpea flour fudge)<BR>*Bonus- Turmeric Tea!<BR><BR>Fire and Earth Kitchen offers cooking classes which are 100% vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and open to everyone. We offer monthly group cooking classes in our fireside space, as well as private cooking classes in our space or yours. Our mission is to make plant-based and gluten-free cooking accessible to everyone. We do this by making sure every dish is simple to prepare, and by using nutritious, easy to find ingredients. All of our classes are demonstration based, which leaves you ample time to ask questions, sample food, and sip a drink. Custom recipe cards, nutritional information, and tips and tricks for easy meal preparation are shared throughout the class. Our group classes are social and casual, and cultivate a sense of community hard to find elsewhere. Each group class has a minimum of 4 participants, and maximum of 8. <BR><BR><BR>Disclaimer: Classes are held in our intimate fireside space and while it is a test kitchen and classroom, it is also a home. &nbsp;Two sweet cats live here (though they will not be present during class), if you have &nbsp;allergies please take appropriate measures beforehand so you are completely comfortable for the duration, or contact us to schedule a class in your own home.
