Race Relay Burbank
RACE RELAY is an interactive, multi-media production that includes drums, monologues, video clips and conversations, creating an environment where everyone has a voice and the opportunity to listen, engage and work together to understand and address racism.Produced by New York Film Academy in partnership with the City of Burbank and the Burbank Human Relations Council, RACE RELAY will give attendees the opportunity to "walk a mile in another's shoes" and communicate about their experiences, and will segue into ongoing Community Dialogues to which we hope event attendees will invite friends, family and colleagues.
There are FOUR opportunities to participate in the RACE RELAY Productions at the Burbank YMCA. Please select between Friday, November 19 at 7pm, Saturday, November 20 at 2pm OR 7pm, and Sunday, November 21 at 7pm. Wearing comfortable clothing is advisable and proof of Covid vaccination will be confirmed at the door.
There is no charge for Race Relay tickets, but we ask that, if you can't attend, you kindly cancel in advance so that we can offer your seat to someone from our Wait list.
