He has one of the Greatest Elvis Voices! Everett has performed all over the USA and as well in Mexico.. Everett Atherton is his given birth name but his name was changed to Howard Syverson after his adoption. Howie is a Native American and was born in Northern Minnesota on Leech Lake Reservation. He is the youngest of seven children. His mother and Father died befor his 1st birthday and was sent to a orphanage with his full blood sistera and both were adopted 18 months later. He grew up in NE Minneapolis his other five siblings were put in foster care. Growing up in a completely White neighborhood racism was somthing he dealt with through his childhood. His adopted mother always had him singing in front of company which he thought was fun ,But due to cancer it took his mother when he was in 1st grade..He was blessed to have his Grandmother raise him. Howie discovered Elvis music at a early ageand that his vocal tone was similar. He continued singing like Elvis until some friends said "Man you sound just like Elvis" Howie put his dreams of being a Tribute artist until his kids were old enough for him to go out and showcase his talent.He has won many competitons and has performed in front of thousnds as well as a few people at private shows!
