The Accidentals and Bennett Live in Concert
The Sola Gratia Music Series is excited to bring another great night of music to life for you. The concert series, founded in October of 2009 strives to bring justice and hope to life through great music while raising money and awareness for community and justice issues. On this night music lovers will be blessed by the hearts and talent of The Accidentals as well as the amazing gifts of the band Bennett from Grand Rapids.
Two girls, two years, three albums, three movies scored, thirteen instruments, forty-five original songs, five hundred live shows, five thousand fans...still in high school. That's the story of Katie Larson and Savannah Buist of The Accidentals who began in October 2011 when Katie Larson and Savannah Buist met in the Philharmonic Orchestra at Traverse City West Senior High School. While working on a duo project they realized they had everything in common...the same love of quirky music and strange instruments. Both of their fathers were pianists and their mothers were singers. They both played several instruments, and more importantly, they both loved to write. They soon discovered that their voices were made for one another.
Bennett is winning the hearts and minds of everyone who hears them these days as the travel throughout Michigan performing. Based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bennett is a group of three passion-driven college students. Collectively, this group melds the violin, guitar, mandolin, accordian, piano and the unity of their three voices to form a unique sound that will leave you feeling like there is hope, and wishing for one more song.

All profits from the evening will support the work of Single MOMM- a ministry that works hard to support single mom's in the Traverse Area. Also, bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots as a way of supporting the vital they do in our community.
