La Puerta del Vino: A Musical Tasting Event
Pianist Clare Longendyke is known to audiences for her creative programming and engaging way of connecting music history to experiences within contemporary life. For this virtual concert event, Clare combines her love of Debussy's piano music, her commitment to the work of living composers, and her affinity for immersive performance experiences to create a customized tasting concert that pairs works for solo piano with tasty treats and delicious red wine. Throughout the performance, Clare guides audience members through the shared qualities in the music and the food that highlight and enhance the listener's understanding and appreciation for the programmed works. Celebrate Midsummer with a unique and customized two-person tasting kit and a virtual concert from your homeanywhere in the world!

When?
Concert premiere on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 8:00pm Eastern / 7:00pm Central. The performance will be available online for audience members to enjoy until Sunday, August 1 at midnight ET.
Where?
This event is virtual, with the possibility of having a tasting kit mailed to your home. The concert link will be sent 24 hours prior to the concert premiere.
Why?
While in-person concerts are starting to once again be possible, virtual performances allow artists to perform high-quality virtual events directly in your home! Thanks to the experience I gained during COVID-19, I've learned that incorporating virtual events into my regular season allows me to reach a wider audience across the country and, if I'm lucky, the world.
Tickets are sold in three tiers:
Concert Tickets - for audience members wishing to watch the performance without the accompanying tasting kit
Reduced Concert Tickets - for coupon code carriers including this Spring's generous donors! Thank you!!
Tasting Kit ONLY - this ticket is purchased in addition to the concert ticket and includes a customized tasting kit including 1-bottle of red wine, 1-package spiced pretzel, 1-French mustard dip, 1-chocolate bar. This ticket EXPIRES on Saturday, July 11 at 11:59pm to allow for shipping.
