ONLINE: Validating Gender and Sexuality Through Animal Roleplay
Please note: This will be a live, online class offered through Zoom.
Animal role play can be a vehicle for stress relief, structure, whimsy - but have you ever felt truly understood? Free to drop societal expectations and simply exist as you are, and experience love in return? This is a gift that animal roleplay can offer.
In this class, we'll discuss how we can harness this play as a means of validating the colorful, often-fluid fabrics of gender and sexuality. You'll discover:
- What animal roleplay is and how it relates to gender and sexuality
- The assumptions and stereotypes attached to different animals and breeds
- What our animal headspace can help us access and explore within ourselves, and why it's important
- Solo animal play techniques for self-connection and validation
- Designing scenes with validation in mind
- Centering validation in our Dynamics
- Negotiation tips
- The benefits of trying out different headspaces

And keep in mind - human animals aren't always submissives, and self-love is for Handlers, too! We'll be highlighting the many unique dynamic structures that can occur in animal roleplay, and how validation is a two-way street that can help everyone involved feel powerful and seen.
PRESENTER:
Mistrexx Wiley Wolfe (she/they) is an Ethically Polyamorous Primal Daddy, BDSM Educator, and Fetish Performer based in Los Angeles. She began her journey as a professional submissive at Sanctuary Studios LAX, and trained with top BDSM practitioners into the Professional & Lifestyle Dominant she is today.
She is the Co-Founder of SoCal Creatures, an inclusive pet play group; Quench, a monthly LGBTQIA+ munch; and created the Wolfe Academy of Kink, an online kink education series. She has also taught for Sanctuary LAX's The Course, Wicked Grounds, Dyke Day LA, Black Thorn/Sacred Muse, DomCon LA, Dungeon East, and more. Her workshops focus on many different aspects of BDSM, with a particular focus on animal play, deepening intention, and full immersion role play.
As a gay genderqueer woman, Mistrexx Wolfe's driving desire is to foster connection, education, ethics, and radical inclusiveness in BDSM.

Tickets: $15 - $35 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets until one hour prior to the event. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.
The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.
The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.
Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it.
