Malika's Saturday Kitchen Session 6 Livestream
Flowers of Rhetoric led by Soul Patel
We will look at how these literary devices can be used to convince, teach, impress, or goad the listener, with examples of techniques from Shakespeare to Keats, Elvis to U2. After this session, youll have tools to create a more powerful impact on readers of your work.
Please bring drafts of two poems to work on, each no more than about 30 lines.
This is a live stream on YouTube of a poetry workshop happening in Zoom, led by one of the Malika's Poetry Kitchen family. You will not be able to interact with those participants or the session leader, but will be able to follow along and do the exercises. Any handouts given to them in advance will be available to you too.
The live stream is available on a pay-what-you-feel basis.
