Sam grew up between Davis, Redding and West Africa. He started playing guitar at 10 and quickly became enthused. After studying guitar at music at the Berklee College of Music in Pennsylvania, he returned to West Africa to study the Ngoni with master player Toumani Diabate. Sam now lives in New Orleans and is working on music ventures best he can, like many musicians during this time of limited performance options!
