The Day of the Flowers
A dark comedy of two estranged Scottish sisters, one a committed radical, the other a spoiled fashionista, who reunite in order to take their fathers ashes to back to revolutionary Cuba, his second home. Arriving in Havana, they promptly lose the ashes and experience a series of misadventures that range from romantic to dangerous. Filmed in Havana and filled with vibrant Cuban music. Screened at the Havana Film Festival.
