Sugar Babies
Diabetes may be the worlds most misunderstood disease, and the confusion is only intensifying as the disease spirals into an epidemic. When filmmaker Jenny Mackenzie's young daughter is diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, she decided to make a documentary about it. Sugar Babies weaves her daughters story with those of other diabetes victims into a film that not only educates, but tugs at our heartstrings. Q&A with director Mackenzie after the screening.
