Discovery Wild Game Benefit Dinner
Discovery is a nonprofit organization that guides participants through removing the obstacles that hold them back and prevents them from grabbing ahold of success, peace & joy. Discovery participants experience positive changes, purpose and passion for their life.
This benefit dinner is hosted by current Discovery participants and the proceeds go to benefit the Discovery program.
Held at Sicola's Garden House (www.sicolasgardenhouse.com) near Lake Travis, in Austin, this dinner is an extraordinary opportunity to experience wild game at its finest. Chef Sicola is an experienced chef that has a knack for preparing and paring exotic foods.
Watch for menu updates, but currently we are creating the menu considering Bear, Caribou, Elk, Duck, Venison, and Rattlesnake.
Sicola's Garden House is a venue focused on the purity and goodness of fresh food -- grown, raised and harvested like it was a hundred years ago. Guests will tour the test gardens, the production gardens, the herb gardens and the square foot gardens, and will even harvest the greens used for part of their meal.
The evening will start with a social between 6 and 7, with a tour of culinary delights featuring various wild game and wines paired with the wild game. We will tour the estate, and then sit for a fantastic meal and desert.
Come casual and ready for what will surely be one of your favorite evenings in 2013.
