Desperate Times / The Damned Truth
Our shows highlight the most eccentric and desperate side of human nature, delivered with a playful, sarcastic, self-deprecating tone: geeky high school girls host prom in their basement; a father uses vegetables to explain sex to his young son; a man calls in his understudy to replace him in the middle of a date. Desperate Times brings to life insecure and misunderstood characters, struggling to be accepted in an unforgiving, crazy little world. We are four actor/writer/comedians who have built a successful and charismatic sketch team through both live performances and web videos since 2010!
Desperate Times is Jessica Ritacco, Jessica Knutson, Gregg Daniels, and Adam Lebowitz-Lockard.

The Damned Truth splices comedy and social commentary with topical events in the news. We like to poke fun at serious situations and point out the absurdity at 'newsworthy' topics. At the same time we love for the audience to walk away with a message. All while having fun.
