#GettingBackOutdoors: How-to Webinars: Organisations
#GettingBackOutdoors: How-to Webinars #GettingBackOutdoors is a series of initiatives and events in response to Covid-19 set up by OutdoorArtsUK to support those currently working in the Outdoor Arts sector, as well as anyone looking to take their work outside, perhaps for the first time. Between 4-6 Aug, OutdoorArtsUK will host three How-to Webinars designed to introduce organisations, venues and artists to the world of Outdoor Arts and to consider what might be needed when working in this context. Each webinar will see a range of guest speakers offer practical and creative considerations, suggestions and solutions as well as taking specific questions from participants. How-to: Organisations Tues 4 Aug, 10-11:30am Co-Chaired by: Angus Mackechnie (Executive Director, OAUK) & Lou Lomas (Freelance Producer & OAUK Board Member) Speakers: TBC In light of the Covid-19 situation, many cultural, business, and public sector bodies and organisations are considering the first steps into presenting arts and cultural activities outdoors. They may be wondering how they can begin to re-animate and repopulate their streets, parks, squares, shopping areas, and re-engage local communities using these open-air settings. This how-to webinar will be useful for any organisations who are looking for advice on programming and safely presenting outdoor events of many different types, from light nights to street festivals, rural installations to pyrotechnic installations, perhaps for the first time. If you are a Local Authority, Business Improvement District, Creative People & Places project or other community organisation rethinking its cultural offer and interested in the benefits and practicalities of getting arts out in the public realm, we're here to help you get outdoors.
