ONLINE: Pony Play 101
NOTE: This will be an online event via Zoom. Zoom registration information will be sent to all participants after ticketing.
A proud mare marching in a parade whilst pulling her charges in her cart; a prancing stallion performing his practiced dressage routine at a competition; a blindfolded pony fettered in leather, rope, and restraints. What is pony play? What are its benefits? What does one need to know to get started? What makes it special? Just how does one pony? From one pony to another hear from someone who has done it! We will cover headspace, activities, types of pony and their respective modes of play, and more!
PRESENTERS:
cPony is the author of the Pony Play informational website cPony.com. He is a Ponyboy that has had an interest in Pony Play for many years, having bought his first Pony Play Bridle from Stormy Leather in 1998, and published his first iteration of his site in 2007. His experiences of owning, riding, and caring for bio-horses for many years also lends to his knowledge of different types of Pony role-play that can be performed. His interest in Pony Play continues to grow to this day, and he loves to share his passion for it with other like-minded or curious individuals.
Diesel is a local Bay Area Ponyboy and leather worker who has been pulling carts since 2012 and making tack since 2016. Having trained and owned bio-horses during his teens, he has always held a high level of adoration and respect for bio and human ponys alike. The process of getting into pony head space to pull a cart in the SF Pride Parade, or to simply practice lunging with his handler, is one he always looks forward to. Being able to help others find this meditative head space is an important way he hopes to give back to this wonderful community.
