Cara Black at North Shore Boulangerie for Three Hours in Paris
Join us for an afternoon tea with The New York Times bestselling author of the Aimée Leduc investigations, who reimagines history in THREE HOURS IN PARIS, her first stand-alone novel, a pulse-pounding spy thriller.
It's June of 1940, and Paris has just fallen to the Nazis. Cara Black brings Occupation-era France to vivid life in this gripping story of a young American markswoman with the temerity and drive to take on Hitler himself.
Publishers Weekly raves that "Black keeps the suspense high throughout. Fans of The Day of the Jackal won't want to miss this heart-stopping thriller" while the starred Booklist review notes "Black stretches her wings here, soaring to new heights."
Tickets cost $36, available at threehourinparismke.bpt.me. Tickets include admission, French sweet and savory snacks, coffee or tea, a signed copy of Three Hours in Paris, and all taxes and fees. Only 50 tickets available for this special event.
This event is hosted by Boswell, Alliance Française de Milwaukee, and North Shore Boulangerie. For this event, no cancellations or refunds after May 7. If you are not able to attend, a signed copy of Three Hours in Paris will be available at Boswell for pickup for up to six months after the event.
