I Can't Indian Good - Solofest '20 - "Best Of Fest" ENCORE
Invited back for Solofest "Best of Fest" encore performances!
"Brandon, a 1st generation Indian American with zero ties to India, woefully cannot understand what makes him Indian. So to get over feelings of isolation and alienation from his heritage, it takes a visit by a herd of (imaginary) ancestors to help him figure it out."
Written & Performed by Brandon Raman Directed & Developed with award winning director Jessica Lynn Johnson
Using laughter and introspection, this one man show explores the universal struggle of understanding how you fit into this world, the expectation of what you're supposed to be, and finding the value in who you really are.
Written and performed by Brandon Raman, an actual 1st generation Indian American with zero ties to India, he does his best to give you a peek into the mind of a person taught to be ashamed of his own skin, only to learn to be ashamed of being ashamed of it. And the headache that follows.
A cultural identity meltdown is no joke. But it can still be very funny.
